LOVE IS THE ONE THING WE’RE CAPABLE OF PERCEIVING THAT TRANSCENDS DIMENSIONS BETWEEN TIME & SPACE. MAYBE WE SHOULD JUST TRUST THAT EVEN IF WE CAN’T REALLY FATHOM IT YET.

YEARNING TO BE WITH OTHERS IS A REMARKABLE FEELING OF EMOTION AT THE FOUNDATION OF WHAT MAKES US BOTH HUMAN & SPIRITUAL BEINGS THAT SHOULDN’T BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. IT IS THE VERY ESSENCE FOR WHICH WE WERE CREATED TO PERTAIN TO.
Love keeps no record of wrongs. Forgiveness is freedom.
YOU NEVER REALIZE HOW DEPENDENT YOU ARE ON HUMAN APPROVAL & ACCEPTANCE UNTIL IT’S TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU.
When your self-esteem depends on how much the world loves you, or retweet your quips, likes your instagrams or views your blogs, you are at its mercy. And once that attention fades, you will be left feeling empty or lost. If there’s no attention at all, you’ll feel like a complete failure. I’m one of your idols. “Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” – Jesus in John 3:7-8.
In this lyric he’s sort of waiting for The Wind, this motion of new birth to come into his life. He feels alone, and feels like his spirit is breaking, but he’s hoping it’s just a bad time, and that he will bend and The Wind will come and renew him. He realizes that The Most High was waiting for him on the shoreline where he thought he had been left alone. God never really left.
When he says, “Tried to kiss the emptiness,” He means he was getting sucked into the world and what it does, trying to embrace the emptiness in hopes that it would bring some fulfillment, but really there is nothing in emptiness, and he finally realizes that.
The sea is the multitude of people. All wondering in lust of the things of the fallen world.
In the God of Abraham, Isaac & Yacob, we trust alone beside which, there’s no rival nor equal.
Peace+Love be with thee all.
PS: The Wind is the Breath of God. It’s HIS Holy Spirit. The Power thru which all things are sustained on earth & in the universe.
